Turbulent Flow
CAVAILLE YANN
2025
This project explores the collision of form, movement, and chaos through the journey of spheres carried by water. The steel-like balls become intruders in a fluid world, their passage disrupting the flow and generating cascades of spray, foam, and bubbles. The resulting composition is not only about objects moving through water, but about water itself becoming a reactive and unstable force—surging, breaking apart, and recombining. The piece captures a tension between control and unpredictability, setting simple geometric shapes against a natural element that resists order. It reflects both the precision of simulation and the beauty of chaos.
