Have contemporary metropolises, despite the physical proximity of millions of people, become a new kind of void—“dead cities” of functioning bodies accompanied by the simultaneous death of social bonds? This project explores the paradox of loneliness within a crowd and asks whether technological “connection” offers a remedy, or merely an illusion that deepens the problem.
